Subject: Secret Word, BTW is "Food"
This show is simply one of the very best and most entertaining in television history, and this particular episode is immensely enjoyable. By all means, check it out.

Subject: Groucho at his best!
A first rate episode and a perfect showcase for Groucho's ad-lib acumen. The opening with the single woman is spot-on Groucho at his smarmy best. Then, a wall-eyed contestant named Albert Hall provides an amazing segment, as he and Marx mug at each other.

Subject: thanks
In australia this show wasnt shown and it was a thing of legend to me.
the cleverness of marx and his off hand comments still are funny on 10/10/2010.

albert hall is straight from central casting, his face is thing of beauty and terror.
the marx brothers are so funny and very before their time, groucho most significantly.

now we can replay marx brothers movies but at the time a person would have to watch movies a few time to catch all the jokes cos they flew strong and fast.
again thanks to the person who left this for us all to see and share this great experience of being with in mr marxs once more.

Subject: A catalog site for Classic TV shows
If you like Classic TV from of the 50's, I found a catalog site that makes it easy to find and watch episodes streaming from Archive.org at:

The Classic TV Channel

There are currently over 400 individual episodes of about 30 different programs, and the site is growing day by day. Check it out!

Subject: Those Desotos could kill ya...
Be sure to check out the gear shift lever during commercial break...that thing must have been responsible for an untold amount of impalings.
I wonder if thats why we don't see very many Desoto owners these days.

LOVE the show btw.

Really funny show as all the Groucho You Bet Your Life shows were. Fennerman was great as Groucho's sidekick. That 55 Desoto was one fine looking car.

Better than Bruce Forsythe's Sunday Night at the London Palladium (1960's).

Subject: Groucho is Great
Hi, I'm Yugi Moto, and I enjoyed this TV footage. This quiz show made Groucho a household name, and features some great comedy. Unlike "Twenty One", this show was NOT rigged. It's high quality TV at it's best.

Subject: Upstaging Groucho
The third contestant, Albert Hall, is worth watching just for himself. Hilarious! He should have show of his own.
